"Premier Sport have been in school for approx. four years. Their coaches are on time and very knowledgeable about the subject. They deliver quality lesson which are observed by myself and other members of staff periodically.
They have improve the skills of the children involved and have a good working relationship with them as most of the all attend the after school clubs which they run. "At Greenleas we have been delighted with the input we have received from our partnership with Premier Sport.
Since the introduction of staff PPA time, some 4 years ago, our partnership has gone from strength to strength. We have found that PE and Sport within the school now has a much higher profile. Our excellent sports coach teaches children from the reception year through to Year 4. This ensures real progression across the school with children building on their skills from year to year.
We have now timetabled our PE to include a gifted and talented group who are given additional time to develop their skills further. I really feel we are contributing to the next generation of athletes by celebrating excellence and providing children with a variety of sporting opportunities.
It is a happy coincidence, if not surprising, that this year the school have won a number of local tournaments including football, unihoc and tennis. Next year we are taking a step further by having our sports coach for 3 days a week, enhancing the quality and quantity of PE across the school."
