Chewie's 2011 Summer Tour - 18th Oct 2011
Over the Summer holiday's, Chewie the Chewitsaurus took time to come and visit our Multi-Sports Courses at various schools throughout the UK.
Chewie Started off his tour at St Gabriel's School in Lancashire where he surprised the Children as they took part in a Multi-sport course delivered by one of Premiers Senior Coaches Andy;
“The kids love Chewie, he’s been a few times to our holiday courses and the kids can’t get enough of him. The children took part in a variety of activities, which Chewie got involved with and it went down really well. Poor Chewie struggled to get out of the building at the end; the kids didn’t want to see him go!”
Andy Heald, Preier Sport Senior Coach
Chewie continued his tour passing through a further eight counties in the UK including schools in Leicestershire, Derbyshire, Norfolk, Hertfordshire, Kent, West Sussex , Somerset and Devon.

"The summer camps were once again extremely popular with more days being delivered than summer 2010 and an increase in average number of attendees. Themed party days on the final day of courses were a real hit in some areas, something that we are looking to roll out nationwide on future events.
With the latest reports surrounding sedentary behaviour (inactivity) being a huge threat to our children’s future health and recommendations for children to be completing at least 60 minutes and up to several hours of moderate to vigorous intensity physical activity per day, Chewits sport’s courses tick many, many boxes – Health, well-being, fun, learning & enjoyment and economic"!
