DAME KELLY HOLMES GETS THE UNDER 5's ACTIVE - 10th Sep 2011
The Golden Mile gets the Under 5s active and raises funds for DKHLT.
Golden Mile has teamed up with the largest nursery chain in the UK to deliver the “Busy Bees Golden Mile” physical activity initiative, encouraging 11,000 Busy Bees children to become fit and active from such an early age.
With government guidelines stating that under 5s should have 3 hours Physical Activity per day the Busy Bees Golden Mile provides an excellent solution to help achieve this target.
Not only will the partnership benefit the health & wellbeing of its nursery staff and children the Busy Bees Golden Mile has also teamed up with the Dame Kelly Holmes Legacy Trust pledging £1 per mile, per child for the year creating life chances for young people.
Dame Kelly Holmes herself will be in attendance at the fundraising launch in October.
Important Note; this is a unique product for Busy Bees. Franchisees are NOT to promote Golden Mile into other PRIVATE nurseries for the duration of this agreement.
