Charity Cheerleading Show a Success - 10th Jan 2012
Congratulations to everyone involved in the Premier Sport Christmas Cheerleading Show and for raising £162.06 for St Luke’s Hospice, Sheffield
The show took place on 10th December at Coal Aston Village Hall.
Classes involved were Totley All Rise Church, Coal Aston Village Hall, Woodlands Fitness Centre, Brampton Manor and Healthy Living Centre.
Premier Sport Coach, Emma Robson, said;
“We would like to say a BIG thank you to all the girls involved. They worked really hard and it was a great show.
This was our third cheerleading show! Most of the girls have done all three so they’re really committed. We decided to put together a show as it gives the children confidence and experience of dancing on a stage and also a chance for parents to see what the children have achieved in the sessions.
We managed to raise £162.06 on the night to send to St Luke's hospice which they were very grateful for.
I would also like to thank all the parents again as I really appreciate their support to Premier Sport throughout the year”.
This year’s show was dedicated to a family member of a Premier Sport employee who lost his battle to cancer earlier this year. He stayed at St Luke's in Sheffield where he was cared for in his last months.
Emma is already planning the next show for Saturday 14th July.
