Street Dance

Premier's Street Dance sessions are specifically developed to teach a wide variety of contemporary moves at all levels.
Our children take a journey of learning through the new and innovative discipline of Street Dance, while we encourage them to use their imagination to design, develop and perform with confidence.
Not only can children learn their own personal routines, the classes instil strong health and body awareness values as either an introduction to the sport or by building on existing skills.
Performance and enthusiasm grows with confidence as children naturally progress on the programme, and kids are encouraged to pursue and develop their skills through strong local club links.
All children are registered and deregistered in via our strict registration policies, ensuring they are in a unique child-safe learning environment.
As with all our clubs, children are encouraged to follow the Premier Sport FUN AGREEMENT, which encourages them to take ownership of each session in a bid to ensure behaviour and respect is a priority in each and every activity.
Awards are presented at the end of every session for performance and attitude and certificates are awarded to each participant on completion of the course.

Street Dance is a great activity for both boys and girls to enjoy and keep fit and active, practising helps with agility and stamina.
The Rock Step
- Point your foot in front of the left and lean slightly backwards
- Bring your feet together and point your left foot in front of the left leaning back slightly
- Swing both of your arms behind you as you point and lean back
Practice
- Make sure you practise slowly on each foot-don't rush
- You arms need to be and strong each time you swing them back
- Once mastered practice going quicker, with lean and attitude
